About Jim LeClaire
At a recent event for Waters Farm Preservation, Inc., Jim gets into the shoot with a ride along the wagon train re-enactment and prepares to interview one of the original participants. View a short piece of Jim in action.
I have been involved in video since high school using Black and White reel to reel recording decks with B&W cameras attached with a cable recording High School sports for coach's review.
In 1991, I received a B.A from Worcester State College and worked for WHLL-TV 27 as a producer/videographer and editor. After the station was sold to a Spanish network, I became an independent producer for wedding videography.
I am a Senior Member of the National Professional Videography Association of New England. Senior Member status is for those who attend at least 90% of the meetings and participate regularly. I have been a presenter and I am still photographer for the newsletter.
I own and use multiple editing systems which were built by 1 Beyond Digital Video Systems, Inc. and have had a solid relationship with them for over 15 years.
My systems are run with mostly Adobe products including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Audition (sound editing) and Encore DVD Authoring.
To further enhance productions, I use Digital Juice Graphics and Music Library as well as Imaginate for photo animations
I shoot with a Canon XL1S.
